Challenge

A complex audit questionnaire — dozens of questions covering product placement, shelf visibility, promotional materials, pricing compliance, and stock levels. The KAM scrolls up and down through the entire form during a store visit, losing context between sections.

During recent workshops with a Retail sector client, we heard this flagged as one of the main blockers to field ergonomics. The more advanced the questionnaire, the harder it was to use — which was directly affecting the quality and completeness of responses submitted from the field

Solution

Our approach: group questions by topic and display the whole group at once — instead of question by question. The matrix view lets the KAM take in an entire topic area and switch between sections without losing context.

Each section has its own progress bar. The KAM can see which topics are complete and which are still pending — without scrolling through the entire form. Response completeness improved significantly in early testing with the client's field team.
